Silverlight Media Gallery 3.2
1. Introduction
This is a Ready-to-Use-and-Deploy Silverlight Gallery application which mainly based from the famous open source project - Vertigo Slide.Show2. It utilizes the slide.show2 control advantages to let you publishing highly-customizable photo/video/audio galleries.

2. What's new in v3.2
:Automatic generate thumbnail images,this feature will improve gallery performance observably.
If “Generate thumbnail “ option is checked, module will automatic generate related thumbnail for gallery images. Thumbnail image will named as “thumb_” + original image name. For example, if original image is Test.jpg, then module will generate a thumbnail named as thumb_Test.jpg. This will improve gallery performance observably, especially when gallery has a lot of images.
3. Module Featues
3.1. Two gallery type
v3.2 supports galleries like: 1: Customize Gallery 2 Flickr Gallery
Customize gallery allows you define a list of albums, each album can have its own transition style(fade transition/circle in /circle out/ slide down...). Each album can have multiple slides, slide has properties like title/description/thumbnail/source/link url. 
Customize gallery - album viewer
Customize gallery - Slide viewer. Click the right bottom button will let you view in full screen.
Flickr Gallery enables you integrate your gallery in Flickr. To retrieve image you need provide a valid flickr user name.
3.2 Photo/Audio/Video
The slide source file can be set as photo (jpg,jpeg,png,wmf,tiff,gif,exif,emf,bmp) or windows media video(wmv) or music file(mp3,wma).
Play audio (wmv/mp3) files.
Play windows media video(.wmv) files.
3.3 Theme based
A theme is a set of values for the available configuration options that provide a consistent look and feel for a slideshow. Using a theme is the easiest way to configure gallery. The available out-of-the-box themes are: SimpleTheme, LightTheme, and DarkTheme.
3.4 Template based
Gallery view interface are template based. You can customize your own display template, change item layout or add additional information as your wish.
3.5 Portable
Gallery provide a “embed viewer“ function which let you copy currently html code, and put it on external sites, gallery will show as the same.
3.6 Add slide from portal folder
Slide list can be added one by one , or select a folder then add all its sub photos/videos/audios.
3.7 Powerful yet easy to use
Uses the asp.net 2.0 wizard control to easily guide you step by step. All you need to do is follow the wizard, click “previous” or “next”. It’s as easy as ABC.
3.8 Localization support and online help support
All settings are self-explanatory utilizing the standard DNN help menu system.
4. Upgrade discount
All modules from DnnModules.cn are customer-driven, v3.2 is the 2th generation of this product(v3.0/v3.2). Note, currently microsoft silverlight can only display English well, so, you should not use this module to display non- English album name or image file(like Chinese,Korean , etc).

Multiple upload?It is a good suggestion, I agree with you. It will make this module more friendly. We will see how to implement it.
Currently ,you can use dnn standard "Admin - File manager" to upload zip file, and check "Unzip" option to unzip multiple files to portal folder.

First, I must apologize for my delay response in the past weeks. I was in hospital from July 6 - August 23 and can't access internet.
Yes, we do want to integrate Silverlight streaming services provided by Ms. The only problem is that sometimes we can access this services, sometimes we can't. It is weird.

1. Do I have to create a seperate xml file for each album or will I be able to just point the gallery at specified folders and have it do the rest for me?
2. Can the folders contain a mix of photos and video?
3. Can I embed the gallery on multiple pages?
If so can each instance of the gallery be set to open to a specified album by default then navigate to other albums if desired?
4. What are the requirments on my computer and what are the requirments on my host server?
I curently use the asp.net framework 2.0. .net 3.5 is enabled on my server.
5. In the future can this application be used if my site becomes commercial in nature?
6. Will this applicaton be compatible with future release versions of silverlight?

Yes, you can select a folder, then click "Add Folder" ,module will automatic scan all images under that folder and add them.

Looked at your demo page and when I navigated from the audio file (which started playing) to the video file (which also started playing) the audio continued to play. Ie both audio file and audio from the video file played concurrently. Is this a bug??

Thanks for your information. Yes, the audio file should stoped if user move to another video. We will see how to improve this.
