A tag cloud is a visual depiction of content tags used on a website. Often, more frequently used tags are depicted in a larger font or otherwise emphasized, while the displayed order is generally alphabetical. Thus both finding a tag by alphabet and by popularity is possible. Selecting a single tag within a tag cloud will generally lead to a collection of items that are associated with that tag.
Tag clouds are now available for Xmod, you can specify a CATEGORYCHOOSER, INPUT, TEXTAREA, select or select1 control to hold your tags.
You can display your tags in a traditional tag cloud with plain text or with CSS formatting, an image cloud or a text cloud.
The Xmod tag cloud provides a new and unique way to navigate and filter your Xmod data.

a text cloud is basically an extension of a tag cloud instead of displaying a collection of pre-defined or free format single word tags it is used to display the contents of larger texts.
Using a tagdelimeter = “ “ (space) results in single word tags, you could create a phrase cloud by using a tagdelimeter = “.”
image cloud
if you really want visual impact on your site why not use an image cloud instead of traditional tags?
