Another great free module from you guys at South Village. I am impressed at the simplicity and options of this free module. Too many times I "bought" this type of functionality only to find out it was way too complicated to set up. This was exactly what I needed!! Installed on my portal without issue and worked right out of the box. Thanks so much for this free module! P.S. The source code for both your modules is excellent and well written, I learned a lot from it.

Questions from other customers
Ask a Question
Q:  When a YouTube video finishes playing or when you click the 'menu' button on the bottom, the video resizes to teh upper left corner and an iconic menu appears across the bottom. Will this control give you access to identify and list what those menu items are going to be?
A:  No, it does not. YouTube does not allow access to that list as far as I know, through the embed script.

Q:  What's the purpose when youtube gives you a url that you can simply paste into an HTML/Text module?
A:  You're free to take this approach, and it is quite valid to just take the embed script and paste it into a HTML module. The YouTube Viewer was a client request so that they didn't have to do this, not all content writers have access to the HTML module in their case. Not all clients are savy with the embed script, and changing things like the size, etc., is challenging for them and even intimidating in some cases. This module took all the guess work out for them. Also, this module is for YouTube videos only. In the case of the HTML Module, a content editor could potentially put videos that are inaapropriate from sources other than YouTube. Since it was written in all of about an hour, I felt it was good to give it away for free. In the near future, I will be adding a few more options.
