Secure List Items is a DotNetNuke module that contains 3 primary features:

Nested Links - This modules give you the ability to create and view nested links in a treeview control. The treeview control images and colors are completely configurable by you through the module.css style sheet.

Profile Parameters - Now you can append user profile parameters to external URL query string.  Need to pass the username, email or address to an external site.  It is now no problem to do so. Just check the parameter to append and enter a parameter name in the textbox provided.

Link Security - The cornerstone of Secure Links is the ability to create and set view permissions for each link in the module by Roles, Role Groups or Specific User.  This is very handy for those who want to provide a customized menu of link items to target various roles or role groups.
 

We have created an easy to user link manager that provides you wil a dropdown of all links and you can add and edit all links within the module from one screen. There is no need to go back and forth with selecting your links to edit.

Our module is simple to use:

1. Add the Secure List Items module to your webpage.
2. Add a link to the module.
3. Edit the link to select the specific user roles or role groups that have access to your link item. (by default only administrators can see the link)

IMPORTANT!  If you are upgrading from version 1.0 or 2.0  you MUST uninstall that version and make sure the delete files box is checked when uninstalling.  You can export you links and reimport them into the new module.  Roles must be reset though.
