Want to flag important key words within your web portal? If so, our Tag Clouds module allows you to index and provide quick links to your website content. This module works in conjunction with the existing DotNetNuke search and indexing functions to quickly retrieve keywords appearing in your site. Any modules that incorporate search can be indexed and referenced using this module.  Version 3 allows for page title and module title indexing.

Using this module you can:

• Import and Manage DotNetNuke common words contained the the DNN database. Very helpful for non-us based sites
   
• Generate a tag cloud based on your website content
   
• Add and Remove words from your tag cloud
   
• Make your tag cloud available on multiple pages of your portal
   
• Control the default look of the cloud through settings and module stylesheet.  This includes colors fonts, and width of cloud
  
• Control individual clouds through the settings page which includes, font-family, size, weight, foreground color, background color, and hover color.
   
• Specify a word separator.  The example to the right uses one space between words.
   
• Specify sorting by Alphabetical or Random order
   
• Select how words in the cloud are sized.  By number of user click or the number of occurences of a tag within your portal.

When a user selects a tag in the cloud they are directed to your web portal search page where they get a listing of relevant pages within your portal. They can then select a link fom the search page to navigate to the given content.

To generate a Tag Cloud:

1. Install the Module
2. Place the Module on a Page
3. Select Tag Generator from the Module Menu
4. Select Generate Tag Cloud
5. Review Words and remove any non-revant terms

To index your site content and review common words:

1. Perform steps 1 and 2 above
2. Select Common Words from the Module Menu
3. Select Re-index Site
4. Review Words - these words will not be included when generating your tag cloud.
